Arles Restaurant
Restaurant Arles is a Michelin Bib Gourmand neo-bistro in Amsterdam's De Pijp, known for its rotating French chef's menu and curated wine list. Instagram is the only platform Arles has full control over — the sole space to tell their story on their own terms. I led the entire process, from pitching and research through to ideation, campaign concept, and execution on their overall visual identity.

Main Challenge
Arles had an active but inconsistent Instagram presence that did not reflect the warmth and refinement of the dining experience. The existing content lacked a clear visual language and storytelling structure, limiting the restaurant's ability to connect with and grow its audience digitally.
The challenge was to define a communication strategy rooted in research, build a coherent online brand identity, and design campaigns that could foster genuine engagement — from loyal local food lovers to international visitors discovering the restaurant for the first time.

Solution
The design solution was research-based. Every creative and strategic choice traces back to one of three research tracks. The flow chart below provides an overview of the whole process.

More Visual Output
Every visual on this page was created by me — from content strategy to final execution. A selection of highlights is showcased below, spanning campaigns, photography, and brand content I independently conceived and produced.
